You and one friend flying on the same reservation may check one bag for free each way with the UnitedSM Business Card. This incentive is worth up to $140 each round-trip ticket since United charges $35 per checked bag.

Boarding Priority

You and your companions on the same reservation will be able to board United-operated flights prior to general boarding. Boarding Priority follows boarding by groups, including members of the military, families with children under two years old, and those with elite status in the airline’s frequent flyer program.

Purchases made in-flight are eligible for a 25% discount.

When you pay with your UnitedSM Business Card, you’ll get a 25% statement credit on United inflight items including food, drinks, and Wi-Fi.

Insurance for Trip Cancellation/Interruption

If your journey is canceled or cut short due to illness, extreme weather, or other specified circumstances, you may be refunded up to $1,500 per person and $6,000 per trip for your booked, nonrefundable passenger fees.

Reimbursement for Trip Delays

The Reimbursement for Trip Delays covers trips delayed for more than 12 hours or delays that require an overnight stay due to equipment failure, bad weather, labor strikes, or a hijacking. You, your spouse, and dependent children 22 years old and younger are eligible for reimbursement of expenses up to $500 per ticket. Covered expenses include meals, lodging, toiletries, and medication.

Protection Against Baggage Delay

You and your immediate family members are entitled for a $100 per day reward for up to three days if your checked luggage is delayed or misdirected by a carrier for more than six hours. The coverage is restricted to necessary goods such as clothes, toiletries, and mobile charging cords. The insurance does not cover jewelry, prostheses, tickets, money, or technological equipment.

Reimbursement for Lost Luggage

You and your immediate family members are entitled for up to $3,000 in compensation if your checked or carry-on baggage is lost or damaged while on a flight or while traveling on another covered carrier, such as a passenger train. Jewelry, watches, cameras, video recorders, and other electronic devices have a $500 maximum benefit under this policy. It is not covered if you lose your paperwork, money, or tickets.

Collision Damage Waiver for Car Rentals

You are insured in the event of an accident or theft when you hire a vehicle. If the car is being rented for business reasons, coverage is primary, which means you won’t need to utilize your own auto insurance or accept the rental agency’s insurance. Rentals of 31 days or less are eligible for reimbursement, and you may be paid up to the monetary value of the car. Expensive automobiles, trucks, motorbikes, vans meant to transport more than eight persons, and recreational vehicles are not insured.

Purchase Insurance

Purchases damaged or stolen within 120 days of purchase are covered with Purchase Insurance. Chase may repair, replace, or reimburse you for these items up to $10,000 per item and $50,000 per year. Antique items, animals, living plants, motorized vehicles, computer software, consumables, jewelry, medical equipment, and preowned items are excluded from this coverage.

Protection under the Extended Warranty

On warranties of three years or less, Chase will extend the original manufacturer’s guarantee for an extra year, up to a limit of $10,000 per claim and $50,000 per account. You must have charged a part of the transaction to your UnitedSM Business Card or made the purchase using reward points to be eligible. Motorized vehicles, real estate, medical equipment, computer software, used things, and leased items are not covered by this guarantee.
